Chef Gary Lim has over 30 years of extensive experience in baking and culinary industry in Singapore and Australia. As the Senior Culinary Instructor, Chef Gary currently teaches the students from the Diploma in Food, Nutrition and Culinary Science at Temasek Polytechnic. He is the well sought-after pastry and bakery consultant and oversees all projects in this area. Chef Gary has represented Singapore in many international competitions and has own numerous gold awards. He is also the advisor and trainer to pastry chefs and students and has led many teams to compete at regional and international competitions winning numerous accolades. Chef Gary was the Chief Marshal at the Asian pastry cup 2014, Philippines Chefs challenge, Food and Hotel Malaysia 2015, Maldives Food Hotel Asia 2014, 2016 and Junior World Pastry Cup 2016, Sweet Bake Asia, 2015-2017.
Chef Gary Lim’s expertise spans over many areas- Baking Science and Technology, Frozen dough technology, Advanced premix technology and chocolate and confectionary Technology. Chef Gary was conferred the “National Day Efficiency Award 2020” for his contributions at Temasek Polytechnic. Chef Gary is also the President of Singapore Pastry Alliance and the member of Singapore Chef’s Association.
